The 29th Wallasey Scout Group Lottery helps raise regular, predictable funding to support our young people. Money raised goes towards equipment, activities, camps, and keeping subscriptions affordable for families.
At the same time, it gives parents and supporters a simple chance to win a cash prize each month.
How the lottery works
How to play
- Each entry costs £1 per month.
- You can choose how many entries to hold:
- 1 entry
– pay monthly (£1) or annually (£12 upfront) - 2 to 10 entries
– paid monthly only
- 1 entry
- The lottery draw takes place on the last day of each month.
An entry is made up of 5 numbers, chosen from 1 to 29, with no duplicates (just like the National Lottery).
If you buy multiple entries, you choose multiple sets of 5 numbers — one set for each entry.
How to win
Prizes are based on how many numbers you match in the monthly draw.
Based on 100 entries, the expected monthly prizes are:
- Match 5 – Jackpot of up to £150
- Match 4 – around £40
- Match 3 – around £30
- Match 2 –
- a free Lucky Dip entry into the next draw, and
- entry into a £10 cash prize draw (one winner)
If there are more than 100 entries, the prize pots increase proportionally.
If a prize isn’t won, it rolls over to the next month.
