A wet afternoon and a round of wet games, water spilled and thrown. Lots of water balloons and a paddling pool…messy!!! Straight in the showers!

The little pirates found some chocolate treasure at the end of a damp and muddy treasure hunt…Hathi made it a bit difficult to get while it was stuck at the top of the flagpole! I think Hathi needs some knot tying lessons!!!

Final stop of the day…Lakes Aquarium! We have been finding out about more animals and fish with Helen from Lakes Aquarium. She showed us all of the different animals and fishes and told us all about what they eat! Apparently their cayman likes the taste of Cub Scouts!

The lovely staff from Pets at Home have been teaching our little pirates all about caring for animals as part of their Animal Carers badge. They have been learning about rabbits, guinea pigs, degu, hamsters, rats, fish and reptiles. We suspect some little pirates will be wanting pets… Thanks Pets at Home!!!

We have woken up to some lovely rain this morning, not that it will dampen our spirits! Due to the weather we are now unable to go to the pirate island for our treasure hunt – the ferry is cancelled – but we have a great plan b in store!

The little pirates have had a great, fun-filled day and have tried archery, rock climbing, tree climbing, pond dipping, low ropes and much more all over the site. All muddy and tired!

The little pirates are all taking part in Start of Summer Celebrations today! All over the site they can have a go at lots of different activities…time for some fun!!!
