Exciting, the pirates got to ask the keepers some questions too!

The little pirates have been getting up close and personal with the animals. We fed giraffes this morning!

The little pirates are all partied out after their shipwrecked beach party. They spent all their good coins on ‘cocktails’ and games. They all looked the part in their pirate costumes… The leaders made an effort too!

We were down at Brockhole this afternoon chasing each other all around the park looking for the hidden letters to find the secret word. The pirates had clues but some were really difficult to find… The pirates finished and the. Had a good play on the amazing adventure playground! Pirate party time tonight!

The little pirates (and some of the deck hands) have been out all morning on the water playing games in open top canoes. We had great fun out on the lake and we all got soaked from splashing each other!

A wet afternoon and a round of wet games, water spilled and thrown. Lots of water balloons and a paddling pool…messy!!! Straight in the showers!

The little pirates found some chocolate treasure at the end of a damp and muddy treasure hunt…Hathi made it a bit difficult to get while it was stuck at the top of the flagpole! I think Hathi needs some knot tying lessons!!!

Ay me hearties there be gold to find on the site… X marks the spot but can the little pirates work out the clues to find it???

Reports of 30 degree heat hitting the country but no sight of it up here, it’s raining again! No fear, we have a day on camp planned so we can do some badge work. The little pirates will be looking after our stick insects and giant African snails as well as looking at some of […]

Final stop of the day…Lakes Aquarium! We have been finding out about more animals and fish with Helen from Lakes Aquarium. She showed us all of the different animals and fishes and told us all about what they eat! Apparently their cayman likes the taste of Cub Scouts!
