Daily news round up: Wednesday 2nd August
So the Cubs have spent the day on camp, enjoying creative thinking creating their short films and finishing their aviators badge! 
The Cubs woke up to a lovely scrambled egg breakfast, cooked up by Barry and Rikki, who after arriving 5 scrambled egg sat down and had a cup-of-tea. Afterwards the Cubs began their badge-work, on the first-aid badge, Aviation badge and the entertainers badge. 
For the aviation badge the Cubs used the tablets to design aviation posters using eh pictures they took at the Yorkshire Aviation Museum to create a fantastic poster! That would be used for their work booklets. 
The entertainers badge involved fake blood, running through forests, 21 Cubs and adults crammed into a minibus, along with Derek the Dalek as an air hostess, nurse, bus driver and toilet attendant, a minibus as a plane, 4 deaths, a barmitzvah and a wedding. 
Then in the evening the kids enjoyed a BBQ prepared by Barry and Andy, with burgers, sausages, kebabs, chicken burgers, it was basically the whole BBQ aisle in Morrisons. 
The day ended with a computerised quiz, with teams competing on tablets against each other with the results projected on the wall! After that the two teams with the highest numbers of points were treated to a midnight feast, of sweets, juice, and chocolate fondue!! 
Then it was time for bed, a busy day tomorrow so the Cubs will be up at 7:30 before heading out for another day trip out!
